Ingredients
-
1.5 to 2 lb picanha steak (top sirloin cap)
-
1 tbsp Brazilian Steakhouse Seasoning
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
Coarse sea salt to finish

(Optional) Fresh chimichurri for topping
Directions
Trim any excess fat from the picanha, keeping the fat cap intact.
Cut into 2 or 3 thick steaks and rub all sides with olive oil.
Season generously with Brazilian Steakhouse Seasoning and let rest 20 minutes.
Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steaks 3–4 minutes per side, or until a crust forms and desired doneness is reached.
Let rest 5–10 minutes, then slice against the grain. Finish with sea salt and chimichurri.
Recipe Note
For extra flavor, top with a drizzle of chimichurri.
Drink Pairing: Sparkling water with lime.
Alcohol Pairing: Malbec or a smoky mezcal cocktail.
